“You see? Our ship starts moving! I am so excited! How about you?” said Harris. “Me too! Let’s drive the ship and hit the road!” said Julie. Where are they going? The things have to be illustrated from a week ago. Harry and Julie are very close friends. Harry is a boy who loves geography and traveling very much. Also, he has a dream and that is to travel the whole world. Julie loves doing Math and she has a perfect understanding on things. On that day, Harry said to Julie, “The holiday is coming soon. Do you have any plans for your holidays?” “Actually…no. Do you have any suggestion? Or I am going to stay with my math past papers for the whole holiday. God! I don’t want to do that.” “It doesn’t matter! I have a perfect recommendation for you! I am going to travel around world. Would you like to come with me? I promise you, it will be really really fun and stimulating.” “Sounds great. May I bring my younger brother Charlie to come with us? He likes traveling very much as well.” “Of course, you can bring him, I know Charlie is very strong and has a warm heart for everything. So just make sure he would like to go, and you have your parents’ permission and then we can start our journey soon. Hopefully we can follow on our schedule as soon as possible.” “Okay, then I will give you the results back once my mom agrees with it. Thank you for inviting me to take part in your journey.”
It is a sunny Monday in the harbor, they finally started their journey from Guangzhou Passenger port in this early morning. Harris started to plan their destination for the first day when he just entered the ferry. “So, our first destination today is Taipei in Taiwan. We will stay there for one night.” A few hours later, they arrived. “I’ve heard that the food at the night market in Taiwan is really famous and I am going to try this out!” “Cool! I cannot wait! Let’s go!” said Julie. Then they bought a pineapple cake for each one. They all smiled as they are munching as the cake is very delicious. “Guys find a place to sleep tonight! We have to sleep as soon as possible, we are going to United States tomorrow by plane. It will be very tough and tiring tomorrow,” said Harris.
“Attention please, the flight to New York City will be delayed for 10 hours because of the weather situation. Sorry for that and thank you for your corporation.” from the airport radio. “Oh my god! Are you kidding? Waiting here for 10 hours is going to be boring. I cannot handle this.” Julie became a little bit mad about this. “We can figure out a way! Wait, how about we change the flight to another earlier one as we have just arrived the airport and we have enough time to check in.” That’s a great idea, which Harris helped them get to United States earlier than the schedule. They are now in New York City. “It is fantastic bro! We are at Time Square, which is the place I want to go for many years.” said Charlie. Charlie took his camera and excitedly take a selfie. “Can we just stay here for one more day? Please!” the Charlie doesn’t want to leave New York City because the city is so beautiful, and it is
cultural. It really attracts Charlie and he also wants to discover more about this city. He doesn’t want to just travel without taking any notes and memories.
The next day, they travelled to the Fifth Avenue. The buildings are unique and special, but they are still amazing and interesting. The good thing always last short time. They are going to start their journey to Europe and their stop is Spain. Spain is Harris’s favorite country in the world. That’s because he likes their architecture and the Mediterranean beach very much. The road is inlaid with various pieces of ceramic tiles, different types of churches and Gothic buildings. Everything is magnificent to Harris in Spain. And the Roman Bullring made him love the country even more. He even doesn’t ever want to leave Spain, but without any choice, he has to leave for to Africa. Africa is the last stop of their tour, so they have to catch up the time. “Egypt! Here I come!” screamed by Julie. Her favorite is the Egyptian pyramid, which she believes is simply divine. The complex structure has given her a deep desire and curiosity about this place. The weather is very hot and muggy in Egypt. All three of them are sweating. Finally, they cannot stand the hot and tough weather anymore. They are going straight back to Guangzhou.
Finally, they came back. With four continents round the Earth in the north hemisphere. They felt satisfied and delighted. They’ve just made it to travel around the world in five days. They overcome the problems in different countries and experienced different cultures in different countries and continents. They are brave like warriors. They also proud at themselves of their wonderful journey. As the summer vocation ends, the school heard this event from Harris, Julie and Charlie. The school gave them to award of “Traveling Warriors” and really appreciated them.
“I still cannot forget that day we were in New York City. I hope we can go there for longer days of travel in the future.” said Charlie. “Of course, we can, why not?” said Harris. “What a wonderful world trip it was!” Julie said.
