The Return of Kindness By: Michael Luo

     Once upon a time, there was a businessman called Ben. His appearance is common, but his experience is peculiar. He also has a persistent heart.

     On a dark rainy day. Ben was working in his shop as usual, when a man in a black raincoat walked slowly into the store with a black weak dog tucked in his arm. He put the dog down and left without buying anything. In the evening, Ben is prepared to go home when he found this dog. He thought no one wanted him, so he kindly took the dog back home.

     For the next few days, Ben work as usual and feed the dog on time. He tries his best to take care of the dog. Because of his meticulous care day after day,the black dog gradually recovered.

One afternoon, a person with a black raincoat came again and put a map on Ben’s desk. He still didn’t utter a single word. Ben was confused by this action. One night, Ben was thinking about the history of the black dog. Suddenly! The black dog opened his mouth and began to speak! 

 “Because of your help, I will tell you that the map that ends with a big treasure,” said the dog.  

Ben was surprised and asked, “Why are you telling me this secret?”

“It is because your kindness has touched me,” the dog said calmly.

He then has gotten to know the black dog better. One day, they set out on a treasure hunt in search for the treasure. On the way, they experienced all kinds of difficulties. They went through all kinds of difficulties with their perseverance.

At once, they found some treasure. On the way down the mountain, they talked and laughed, unaware of the danger that was about to come.

Not far from them, a fierce tiger was waiting for them. The black dog first discovered the danger, he shouted for Ben to escape. They have to run all the way down the hill, but the tiger was so quick. Ben decided to go on a separate way to lead the tiger to the forest. Ben ran into a large stone before turning quickly and when is about to hit it, the tiger was quick to move that it hit it first.

After coming back, the black dog walked quietly away. Instead of keeping the treasure to himself, Ben distributed it to the poor people in the village. The people in the village are very grateful to him.

After all these, Ben went back to his normal life.
